All NDCMediSoft software requires registration. After you've had NDCMedisoft installed on your computer for 30 days, the program will be locked, not allowing you to use it. Your data will not be deleted, nor will NDCMedisoft be rendered useless forever if you do not register by the 30 day deadline. After successfully registering, the program will be unlocked and you will again have access to your data.
It's a good idea to register your program soon after receiving it. Three key pieces of information are needed to register NDCMedisoft
- Practice or company name
- Serial number of your NDCMedisoft program: Located on Certificate of Authenticity that came with your NDCMedisoft program.
- The registration code: When you register, you'll be given the registration code to unlock your program.
The best method to use to register NDCMedisoft is by modem. It's fastest easiest. Here's how the process works:
1. On NDCMedisoft's menu, click Help + Register Program. On the Medisoft Registration window, click on Register.
2. Fill in every field of information you know in this window, then click the Next button.
3. Fill in the names and specialties of each provider, then click the Next button.
4. Fill in the serial number for each product you are registering, then click the Next button.
5. If you have a modem, the program will search for the modem and send the registration data. If no modem is installed, you may select Cancel and the Information window will appear. Select Print to send your registration via fax or mail.
6. After the registration information is received and entered by NDCHealth, a registration code will be generated and communicated back to the customer by modem, fax, or phone. After you receive the code, enter in this screen and click Done.
It is important to write down the following information and strore it in a safe place:
- The practice or company name with the exact spelling and punctuation
- The serial number
- The registration number
This information will be required to reregister NDCMedisoft if you ever uninstall the program or change computers.
